The average child's bedroom is now filled with belongings worth £1,260, a home insurance company has revealed.
A questioned was asked by one of the parents by Co-operative Insurance admitted in a study ,was that their children’s room contained more than £2,500 worth of gadgets
Most of the parents do not understand the real worth of the contents in their children’s room was said by David Neave who is the CIS Director of General Insurance.
An advise was given to parents that they should frequently modernize their home insurance policies as in to allow extra goods, brought into the house , by Mr Neave.
He further more added that personal belongings such as expensive items which children can take out of the house, can also be added in the policies of home insurance forms.
About 60 percent of the parents agreed that their children had many expensive gadgets which they use in their daily life, among them 60 percent of children own a mobile phone and the other 46 percent owe an mp3 player.
Home insurance provider Prudential , previously this month claimed that Britons are under cover for owning accessories of about £13 billion.
With Kwik-Fit Insurance. , house holders can save upto about 15 percent on their home insurance premiums if they take combined buildings and contents.
