New ultrabook, the HP Folio 13, launched Wednesday. The thin 13.3-inch laptop contains more business-related features and a longer battery life compared to other ultrabooks.
In addition to being light and thin, the HP Folio is also very durable, supported by a strong metal frame. Its 9 hours of battery life is the longest available among Ultrabooks to date. Another surprising feature found on the Folio is a backlit keyboard.
Even though it's not currently the thinnest or lightest ultrabook, the company hopes that the Folio will be popular among business users with options like a TPM embedded security chip for email and hard drive protection, according to HP’s press release on Wednesday.
The starting price is $900, offering a Core i5-2467M processor, 4GB of memory, 126GB solid state drive, and a wide range of connectivity ports, PC World reports. The consumer model will be available to purchase starting December 7.
