This time Nokia Phones has taken time to present its one of the most enticing mobile phone named Nokia X6 which is simply enticing in all aspects. The look of Nokia X6 is like a traditional phone but it comes with touch screen showing development of technology so far. It comes measuring 111 x 51 x 13.8 mm.

The built in 3.2 inches screen comes displaying 16 millions colours at a resolution of 2592x1944 pixels. Hewlett-Packard India launched a redesigned portfolio of HP Pavilion Notebook PCs. The new portfolio includes the HP Pavilion dm4 and the HP Pavilion dv6 PC. The HP Pavilion d6 is designed to be an entertainment netbook and comes in black and champagne colours at Rs. 35,300. The dm4's forte is its thinness and lightness. It weighs in at less than 2 kg and is 2.5 cm tall. It is priced at Rs. 46,400.

Tech gadgets also help people get news (71 percent), entertain (57 percent) and shop for products or services (56 percent). Gadget users admit they are dependent on their devices. When asked what would happen if their technology gadgets were taken away for a week or more.

One quarter said they would feel completely disconnected. Interestingly, Gen X women (females aged 35-44) led all other gender and age groups with nearly a third saying they’d feel completely disconnected. Conversely, 25-34 year-old men lead the response category “Yes! Please disconnect me, I need the break!” with 16.6 percent of respondents feeling they’re too connected.

The carrier now offers the HTC Desire for about $55 when you sign up for a contract (about $30 per month) that includes 100 text messages, 100 minutes and 3 GB of data. You can also get the Android-powered handset for about $76 when you sign up for a monthly contract that includes 500 text messages, 600 minutes, and 3 GB of data (about $38 a month).

The move is meant to help the HTC Desire gain traction against the Apple iPhone 4, which was just recently released. The Apple smartphone can be had on Vodafone for about $332 and a monthly contract. Is this pricing enough to make the HTC Desire a credible competitor to the iPhone 4? That’s a tough question to answer because it’s tough to top the “new-ness” of Apple’s latest smartphone but the Desire is a mighty fine handset. It’s essentially a Google Nexus One but with HTC’s Sense software.

A new technology developed by researchers in Australia and Italy could soon make Apple's iPads, televisions and other new-age gadgets as user-friendly as newspapers.

Researchers at Australia's Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation, Melbourne University.

And Italy's University of Padua were using laser technology to make products - including televisions, iPads, mobile phones and Kindles - more flexible, thinner and cheaper.

More than half a million Sony laptops sold this year contain a software bug that could lead them to overheat, the company said Wednesday. Sony has recorded 39 cases of overheating among Vaio F and C series laptops that have been on sale since January.

In some cases the overheating has led the laptop case to deform.A bug in the heat management system of the BIOS software is to blame. Sony is asking users to either update the software themselves or return their laptops so it can apply the update.

Toshiba has announced the new portable Toshiba Portege R700 13.3″ ultra-portable notebook. This new Portege notebook isn’t just lightweight , it’s powerful too. Weighing in at three pounds, yet sporting full power Intel Core processors, the Toshiba Portege R700 is an impressive looking notebook. Also, this super-light machine claims up to 8.5 hours on the standard 6-cell battery and up to 12.5 with the  9-cell extended battery. Best of all, retail pricing starts at $889.

To pull all of this off Toshiba has introduced a new cooling method in the R700 series , called Airflow Cooling, which “uses directed streams of fresh air to cool the heat-generating components”; according to the press release from Toshiba. The case is a magnesium alloy with a honeycomb rib design that aims to improve the durability of the new R700. To keep the notebook running in teh real world there is also a hard drive impact sensor and a spill-resistant keyboard.

The move comes as the three companies try to keep pace in the intensely competitive smartphone market, which this week will see Apple Inc roll out its much anticipated iPhone 4 on five continents. Verizon Wireless, the biggest U.S. mobile provider, said the Droid X phone will go on sale July 15 for $199.99 after a $100 rebate to customers signing a two-year contract.

The Droid X has a 4.3 inch touch-screen and an 8 megapixel camera, according to Verizon Wireless, which already depends on Motorola's Android phones as a key weapon in competing against AT&T Inc, the exclusive U.S. provider for iPhone.

Motorola today announce two new entry level mobile phones in its popular MotoYouva series. MotoYouva WX260 is a music phones while MotoYouva WX290 is a multemedia phones.

Both the phone are 2G network phones and 1.77 inches TFT color screen, up to 2GB expandable memory via microSD card, Class 10, 32  48 kbps GPRS, Bluetooth connectivity, Stereo FM radio with RDS, Flashlight andMP3 player are some common features in MotoYouva WX260 and MotoYouva WX290.

Motorola WX260 doesn’t have a camera while Motorola WX290 comes with VGA camera which can take shots up to 640×480 pixels.
