The amount of injuries suffered in harmless, fun games is mind-boggling.

Considering that in US, boys and even girls suffer life-threatening injuries while playing baseball and softball. Injuries suffered in these two games, exceeds even those suffered in more dangerous games such as football and ice hockey.

Given this scenario, it is a good idea to pad up your young one in protective armour – and no, I am not talking about the body armour that soldiers wear in battlefield but small devices, that works where they are needed to work.

Heart-Gard body shirt is one such device. This high-performance shirt has a built-in polyethylene dome that absorbs impact energy and repels it away from the heart.

This highly useful, body protection garment costs US $34.
