May 21, 2010 |15:30 | Apple  By : Team X

Apple iPads can now be purchased with Cash, in a reverse of store policyApple has always been a company to restrict the number of devices someone can purchase when it introduces a new product launch and the iPad was no different. When Apple begun to sell their new tablet this April they had the maximum of 2 iPad’s you could purchase. Apple did not just stop there, in order to purchase an iPad you have to only pay with a credit or debit card. They did not allow cash for purchases and as there was no way for inventory to track the number of iPad’s sold for cash sales. Today when a California woman named Diane Campbell went to the Apple Store to purchase an iPad with the money she had saved up she was turned away by two Apple Store employees as she did not have a credit or debit card.

October 2, 2009 |14:45 | Apple  By : Team X

Apple has updated one of the funnest sections of its website, adding a new look and new ways to browse for iPhone and iPod touch apps. The “Apps for Everyhing” division includes categories like “apps for cooks” and “apps for keeping current,” as well as “apps for students” and “apps for moms and dads.” As apple itself puts it, there’s an app for just about anything on the iPhone and iPod touch.

Apple Updates Apps for Everything Page

In what looks like a smart move for Apple after reaching a landmark 85,000 applications currently hosted in the App Store, the Cupertino-based iPhone maker has redone this particular section of its website for a more intuitive app search, as well as an extra way to categorize apps beyond the search algorithms provided via iTunes.

“Once you discover the App Store, you’ll see how applications can make your iPhone do just about anything,” Apple says on the updated web page. “There are thousands of iPhone apps to choose from. Here are a few that will help you get the most out [of] your iPhone, wherever you go.”

September 18, 2009 |13:55 | Apple  By : Team X

Apple has won MP3 market sorry Zune - RBCTry as it might, Microsoft's mobile media player Zune still can't touch Apple's iPod Touch. And it may not get the opportunity to. Ever.  Microsoft rolled out its latest iteration of.

Its flagship music and media device recently with some decent hardware and software upgrades  including the ability to stream music over the Web to a PC. The Zune can also link to a television. Apple's Touch can do neither.

The Zune should capture more share will the refresh cycle, analysts say, however, it still faces an uphill battle against Apple's iconic iPod, which accounts for a commanding 70% of the overall pure mobile-media player market in North America by some estimates.

RBC's Mike Abramsky says the impact of the Zune is "neutral" to sales of the iPod and therefore he reiterated his Outperform rating on Apple's stock vis-a-vis MSFT.

Laptop + iPhone = Apple Tablet - the world's first touch-screen ...

August 26, 2009 |11:20 | Apple  By : Team X

Laptop iPhone Apple Tablet the worlds first touch-screenWhen asked to sum up the consistently seductive powers of the company that brought the world the iPod and the iPhone, a glassy-eyed devotee once said: "I'll buy almost anything if it's shiny and made by Apple."

Now, in a curious example of hi-tech life imitating art, the internet is alive with fevered speculation that Steve Jobs, the company's totemic chief executive, is about to redefine computing – and the existence of millions of consumers – by unveiling a revolutionary machine which, among other innovations, does not feature a traditional keyboard.
