Technology Makes Gadgets User-friendly

A new technology developed by researchers in Australia and Italy could soon make Apple's iPads, televisions and other new-age gadgets as user-friendly as newspapers.
Researchers at Australia's Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation, Melbourne University.
And Italy's University of Padua were using laser technology to make products - including televisions, iPads, mobile phones and Kindles - more flexible, thinner and cheaper.

More than half a million Sony laptops sold this year contain a software bug that could lead them to overheat, the company said Wednesday. Sony has recorded 39 cases of overheating among Vaio F and C series laptops that have been on sale since January.
